299. Kitchen at its most basic

BROGUHE, COTE D'IVOIRE, 2006. The most basic kitchen is three rocks (preferably igneous--that don't explode) arranged so you can feed wood in from three angles. Aluminum pots are available in all the larger communities--often made by Alcoa in Tema, Ghana, or more recently by the Chinese who are Africa's largest customers and suppliers.
