This picture was on the wall of a cooperative which buys and sells beans that are certified UTZ, Rainforest Alliance, and Fair Trade. At the top of the mural it says, “No to child labor in the fields.” Of course, this is utterly meaningless, because even children who go to school work in the fields. And any child knows how to use a machete.
