BAFOUSSAM, CAMEROON, 2012. For much of the non-Western world, there is no such thing as breakfast. This is especially true in West Africa. We were served this "dinner" as breakfast at Kila Balon's mother's house. Note the two dishes of crudités, which are typically French--carrot and cabbage salads. To the right is grilled fish and fried plantains called "dodo" which means dough-dough.
