Helping African Cocoa Farmers
In Côte d'ivoire, thé pisteurs purchase cacao directly from the village and bring the beans to the traitant, who typically has a warehouse in a regional city. The trait ant then sells the beans to the buyer, located in the port, which is either Abidjan or (more likely) San Pedro.
There are many ways to become involved withe PHF. The easiest to make a financial contribution. PHF have operates with a volunteer board of directors. We have one part time paid contractor in Côte d'Ivoire that helps us. All donations are used to support the villages. You may also choose to donate your time and expertise.
